Slecht nieuws, hier vermeldt omdat dit nuttig zou kunnen zijn: afgelopen weekend is er ingebroken in het atelier van Lettertijd steenhouwers en kunstenaars Anja Roemer en Michiel Deylius. Bij de inbraak is het grootste deel van de bronzen objecten van Anja buitgemaakt. Ook een grote verzameling gereedschap is ontvreemd, zowel bij Anja als ook bij Michiel. Indien u ergens beelden van de foto’s tegenkomt, bijv. op Marktplaats, meldt het aub aan de politie in Utrecht.
Bad news, posted here because that might be useful: last weekend burglars broke into the workshop of Lettertijd masons and artists Anja Roemer and Michiel Deylius. Most of Anja’s bronze objects and a collection of tools from both Anja and Michiel are missing. If you find the objects in the photo’s e.g., offered for sale on Ebay, please contact the police in Utrecht.
It is of course possible that the objects were stolen for their material value only and do no longer exist – a terrifying thought about human nature and a stark reminder of the value of information and the necessity to safeguard it by continuing civilization. Let’s hope the objects are still intact and are returned to Anja.
